Disposal of Used Batteries
The following information shall apply to all who use batteries or products with integrated batteries,respectively, and who do not further distribute such batteries or products (consumers).
Free-of-charge return of used batteries
Batteries shall not be disposed of with normal household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries for correct disposal. You may return used batteries at local waste collection sites or in retail stores. As seller of batteries we are obliged to take them back. However, such obligation shall be limited to those battery lines we currently sell or which we sold in the past. You may send those batteries back by mail, either to us or directly to our warehouse at the following address:

Battery symbols
Batteries bear a symbol of a crossed-out waste bin. This symbol denotes the ban of disposing used batteries of with the normal household waste. Batteries containing more than 0.0005 weight percent of mercury, more than 0.002 weight percent of cadmium or more than 0.004 weight percent of lead bear the chemical name of the respectively contained hazardous material under the sign of the crossed-out waste bin. “Cd” denotes cadmium, “Pb” denotes lead, “Hg” denotes mercury.
